WHAT IS AIR?
David Rossi - Slytherin
My placing of Rossi comes from two different aspects of his life. Firstly from his past. In his past, he was extremely ambitious. Only someone with unfounded ambition would be able to help found something like the BAU in a time when people didn’t always believe in what they preached. Secondly, from his present, particularly when he first joins the team. He is a very individual person in the sense that he prefers to work on something by himself until he knows that it will give him the answer, and then he’ll present it to the rest of the team. We see him go against the beliefs of the rest of the team in organising press releases, purely because he thinks it will help him. The only slight difference with Rossi to other Slytherins is that whilst Rossi will do anything to win like others, his concept of winning is in capturing the bad guys and helping the victims, rather than his own personal gain.
- Jonesy: Do a lot of birds like you?
- Gubler: No, no.
- Paget: Yes.
- Gubler: *laughs* She's making fun of me.
- Paget: What is this..he plays this... He dates these hot models with mouths like a couch! And they're all crazy, and they stalk him!
- Mantegna: My oldest daughter is convinced she's gonna marry him.
- Paget: She's a beautiful girl!
- Gubler: We may be related soon.
- Mantegna: Oh, no.
- Paget: It'd break my heart.
- Jonesy: So you're a humble guy?
- Gubler: I...they're honestly joking around. They're trying to make me seem cool. Thank you for saying that.
- Paget: You're...*laughes*
- Jonesy: One of the ladies outside, saw you...
- Gubler: That was my mom, yeah... *laughes* I sent her there to do that.
- Jonesy: And she saw you in the alley and she did a second take. She went, "Uh! Criminal! Criminal!"
- Mantegna: Well he looks a lot like a criminal...
- Paget: He looks a little homeless.
